The Dance Decade
The drama kid who loved all things creative, I applied for the drill team in my Freshman year in High School and was Captain by my senior year. That’s when my love of dance began.
In my adult life dance started as a hobby and quickly developed into Ultimate Dance Centers…Early in my Ballroom Dance training, I realized that dance brought me tremendous joy, I had dance talent, and it could be a business that I would thrive in.
My innovative marketing for the studio where I was taking lessons doubled the new business that the studio received and within a year I started my own company, Ultimate Dance Centers. I took my direct experience both as a student and business developer for the studio and built it better. This was just the beginning of turning my direct experiences into successful business models.
Ultimate Dance Centers was in a suburb far enough away from a major city with affordable and innovative programming that it was a very successful boutique business for over a decade.
In 2012, Ultimate Dance Centers transitioned its focus, opening the door for me to evolve from a dance instructor to a mentor and advisor for dance teachers and business owners. This shift allowed me to amplify my impact, guiding the next generation of talent in the industry.
